The Kasbah is situated at approximately 40 km from Tiznit. Situated along the African road longing the Atlantic coast for about two thousand km, Tabelkoukt Kasbah is on top of a cliff overlooking a deserted beach. About 4 kms upstream lays a small charming Berber village called Mirleft that has beautiful beaches and where fishermen mingle with surfers. About 30 kms south the town of Sidi Hifni with its Spanish colonial architecture, was restored to Morroco only around 30 years ago. From there on you can join the road towards Mauritania via Goulimine well known for its camel market and the lascivious women’s dances called guedra.
Respecting local architecture, Nicole Arbousset has created a neo classical atmosphere inspired by the thirties and the oriental art.
This southern Kasbah reflects the ancestral Moroccan know how so skilled in chiselling plaster, ancient doors sculptures and very refined mosaics. Containing 7 suites having each a different theme (fassia, African......) and each one equipped with chimneys and terraces enable everyone to live unforgettable hours where authenticity is the main way of life.
